Kindergarten students registered to attend NJES are invited to North Jefferson Elementary's K Camp being held August 7th and 8th from 8:30 - 11:30 AM. Parents must provide transportation to and from these sessions.

JCS REMINDER: All JCS schools will operate on a 2-hour early dismissal tomorrow, Friday, May 30, for faculty senate meetings. We look forward to seeing you all in the morning to say hello and goodbye one last time before summer break.

-Reminder: Tomorrow, May 27th, North Jefferson Elementary will hold two assemblies. The first Growth Parade and Assembly will be for grades K-2 and begin at 10am. The second Growth Parade and Assembly will be for grades 3-5 and begin at 2pm. All NJES families are welcome to join us in celebrating their students' growth this year! -Please also don't forget about this year's community picnic, which will be held on Wednesday evening (rain or shine), starting at 5:30pm. The theme will be Reading into Retirement.

JCS REMINDER: JCS offices and schools are closed on Monday, May 26, 2025, in observance of Memorial Day. We look forward to seeing our students back on Tuesday, May 27, for the last week of school! Make sure to finish the year strong and attend through the last day.

Dear NJES Families, Tomorrow is Pre-K graduation! We are excited to celebrate all of our little ones. Please be sure to check in and out at the front office. Tomorrow is also Field Day for our k-5 students. Families please remember to apply sunscreen and bug spray at home. Please have students bring the following: a towel, water bottle, closed-toe shoes, possible hat, and a change of clothes. Thank you,

NJES Families, tonight is the family night of the BOGO book fair! Families are welcome to come in and shop between 5:00-6:30pm. The book fair will close on Friday May 2 at 12:00pm. To set up an eWallet for the fair visit: https://bookfairs.scholastic.com/bf/northjeffersonelemschool

This week is the BOGO Book Fair! Students will be able to shop during library time and in the morning. Families can send in money or create an ewallet. Families are welcome to shop with thier students on family night, which is Tuesday April 29th from 5:00-6:30pm. Tomorrow is STEAM night at North Jefferson Elementary! Be sure to send in your permissions slip tomorrow, if you have not already done so. This year's STEAM Night is a Fairy Tale Challenge. Students will use Sciene, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math to help their Fairy Tale friends. STEAM Night will be from 5-7pm. Please note there will be refreshments, but this years steam night does not include a meal.

This is a reminder today is a 2-hour early release. Students will be dismissed at 1:25pm. We hope everyone has a wonderful spring break and we will see you back at school on Tuesday April 22nd.
