Page Jackson Elementary Title 1 Family Math and Reading Night
Monday, May 13th 6-7pm
“Summer slide” is the tendency for students to lose some of the achievement gains they made during the previous school year. Come and join us as we demonstrate fun games that families can do at home in reading and math. We will be serving pizza starting at 6pm until 6:30pm (or until gone). Families will then go around to the different reading and math stations. Each student must have an adult with them to circulate the reading and math tables. Page Jackson Elementary School students will receive a math manipulative bag and will be shown how to incorporate the materials at home.

It's o-fish-al!! This school year is coming to an end so quickly. Our hallways are filled with oceans of waves goodbye! We're turtle-ly going to miss these kiddos!

Second graders in Ms. Thomas' class ended their CKLA Unit on the Civil War with a visitor who showed them artifacts from the Civil War.
Second grade took a field trip to Harper's Ferry during their CKLA Unit on the Civil War.

A reminder that Spring Break begins on Friday, March 29, with all Jefferson County schools and offices closed. Schools will remain closed April 1-5, while JCS offices will be open. Students will return to school on Monday, April 8. Enjoy your Spring Break!
Spring has Sprung! PJES is full of colorful artwork to mark the new season 🌹
🎨 JCS student artists display their talent at the Jefferson Arts Council's annual Youth Art Show! 🎨 Congratulations to the talented young artists selected to participate in the 2024 Youth Art Show! JCS art teachers submit the best of students' 2D and 3D artwork for the annual event celebrating West Virginia's Youth Art Month. A public reception on March 10 honored the featured artists, and their art teachers were on hand to support their success! The Youth Art Show runs through March 31 at the Firehouse Gallery in Charles Town.
