UPDATE: October 4, 2023 -- Just days after their win at the regional tournament, the Washington High School (WHS) golf team won the WVSSAC Golf Championship on Wednesday, October 4. The Patriots took the team title by an impressive 16 strokes.
Individually, Jason Falso tied for the 20th place, Andrew Taylor tied for 8th place, and Charlie Shultz placed 7th. Freshman Tommy Evans was the low medal winner for the two-day event, shooting four under par. Tommy was the only golfer in the tournament to shoot under par. He closed out the event by shooting a 67 on Wednesday, just one stroke off the course record.

September 29, 2023 -- Congratulations to the golf team on continuing their winning ways!
The Patriots wrapped up regular season play on Monday, September 25, defeating Goretti and South Hagerstown in a 9-hole match at Fountainhead.
They followed that performance on Thursday, September 28, by claiming the regional title in rainy conditions at The Woods. The team score was 230, led by the strong play of Charlie Shultz, who shot a 78, and Tommy Evans, who shot a 72 in the low round of the day.
