Washington High School

The four-way stop, planned at the intersection of Augustine Ave. and Washington Patriot Dr. in Charles Town, becomes active on Wednesday, December 6. The new traffic pattern accommodates the Sheetz store built across from Washington High School (WHS). The store is scheduled to open on December 7. The new traffic pattern may increase traffic or congestion in that area, especially during arrival and dismissal times at WHS and Page Jackson Elementary School.
Please be patient while everyone adjusts to the pattern. Please remind new or less experienced drivers about the change and urge them to build extra time into their commute.
