CHARLES TOWN, W.Va. -- Washington High School students surprised School Resource Officer J.T. DeSarno with a blue line flag Wednesday. Jefferson County Schools (JCS) students who attend James Rumsey Technical Institute worked with other Eastern Panhandle students to honor School Resource Officers across the Eastern Panhandle with the pine flags that symbolize support for law enforcement.
DeSarno said working with the students was rewarding for him. The students expressed their gratitude for the support DeSarno gives them each day.
