Freshmen, sophomores, and seniors will NOT report to campus to ensure a secure testing environment at the school for juniors taking the test. Good morning WHS Patriots! Great news! The deadline for the WV Promise Scholarship application to be submitted has been extended until May 1st, 2023! Please visit collegeforwv.com to complete your application. This allows for plenty of time for our Seniors to get their applications in. As a reminder, you may be eligible to receive funds up to $5,200 per year for four years while attending an institution in West Virginia! Please also make sure to fill out and submit your FAFSA at studentaid.gov.

ATTENTION: The boil water notice for Charles Town and Ranson will extend through Thursday, 3/9. JCS will again provide bottled water for Washington High, Charles Town Middle, Wright Denny Intermediate, OLC, and Ranson Elementary Schools. We encourage anyone who can safely bring water from home to do so again. Thank you to our incredible staff in the JCS Maintenance Department, who worked quickly to provide schools with water today and made sure they would be ready for Thursday.

🏀⛹️‍♀️The Washington High School Girls Basketball team is on the way to Charleston for the WVSSAC Girls Basketball State Tournament. There are 32 teams playing in the five-day, 28-game tournament that begins on March 7 at the Charleston Coliseum and Convention Center. No. 8 ranked Washington tips off against No. 1 ranked Wheeling Park in the Class AAAA quarterfinal Tuesday at 5:30 PM. Go Patriots!⭐🎉
