Jefferson County Schools encourages all students and families to ensure that they are not chronically absent. Being chronically absent is missing 10% or more of school days for any reason, unexcused and excused. As of March 12th, of this school year, students are chronically absent if they have missed 13 or more days of school. Strive to be in school all day, every school day during March.
