This Friday, MARCH 25th is the Vocal Music Scholarship Benefit Concert at 7 pm in the auditorium.
It is called AN EVENING OF BROADWAY and features excerpts from 5 different shows and a cast of 21 performers from the choir program.
Admission is $5. Please come out to enjoy a wonderful evening and support the scholarship fund. Thank you.
Congrats to Alex Hall for advancing to the State Math Field Day competition at WVU on April 23 after placing at the regional competition this week. Way to go, Alex!
Juniors at Washington High Schools will take the SAT on Wednesday, March 23, 2022. To help create the best environment possible during testing, all high school students in grades 9, 10, and 12 will participate in an asynchronous learning day on Wednesday, March 23. Teachers will share information about how to access assignments and materials. Bus transportation for 11th graders will continue as scheduled that day.
JCS music students continued to win big this past weekend at the West Virginia Music Educators Conference in Charleston! Congratulations to Amelia Dardaris, Amelia Marino, Becky McGivern, Lydia Brown, Rhett Snyder, and Jacob Perkowski of Washington High School on their acceptance into the West Virginia All-State Band. And a big shoutout to Lydia Brown on her outstanding solo at the event's honor recital. You're all outstanding! Go Patriots!

Duties include transporting documents, delivering messages, and assisting with requests from Senators and staff.

An ambulance responded to a medical incident at Washington High School just before 11:30 AM on Tuesday, Jan. 4, 2022. The incident caused a student to drive a vehicle over a curb and into a fence. EMS arrived and treated the student at the scene before transporting them to Jefferson Medical Center. There was no damage to the fence or vehicle. We appreciate the continued support of our emergency responders and the diligence of the students who contacted them for help this morning.
